Marian's studio is located at 3643 University Ave. in historic downtown Riverside one block south of the Mission Inn and open on Arts Walk 1st Thursdays or by appointment. Please visit the contact page if you would like to receive more information.

Semic Fine Art is part of a very small colony known as "The People's Gallery". In addition to open studios on arts walk the gallery exhibits work of community artists free of charge. In that respect the gallery is a 501(c) 3 public charity under federal guidelines.

The individual artist studios however, are private businesses. The Gallery is located in a historic building erected in 1886 that once housed the Harada boarding house and restaurant. Deborah Wong of the University of California, Riverside has written a great article on the Haradas and our connection to them on UCRs Asian American website. For more about the gallery's history, resident artists and upcoming shows, please visit the Gallery's website.

Although the Riverside Art scene has come a long way lately, it still isn't noted for high volume of art sales. That said, please note that Marian Semic will most certainly consider offers to show work outside of her own gallery.
